The envelope was out in the open the whole time, so he in no way could change it. Oh, and he's not scared to open the envelope. On close examination of the both envelopes, someone noticed dates on both of them. The first envelope was revealed on the date or shortly after the date on it. The second envelope's date is next year. Criss isn't an idealogical bigot, you are :)

That way at least you can make an informed decision. It did not occur to me until I saw your post that you and others really did not know about this and why I did not go for it.
