Jun 12, 2008 - Hey you, Just watching Richard Avedon on your channel while up-loading I will up-load ep6 to ep1 I think it's easier to find on the channel that way. I will get to ep1 asap but have a few problems with up-load. I have an Annie Libowitz doc to add as well next week, join me with that one? Thanks to Boilsoft for the splitter.

Jun 20, 2008 - Have my doubts about the approach of the genius of photography in this video. Is a commercial working photographer really able to value his work as high level photography when his work is more the object of speculation then intrinsic good art. There was this question; what is a photograph really worth these days ? I think this question only can be answered by the photographer with a totally objective eye and the connaisseur with empty pockets. Nevertheless, thats the way things go these days

Jun 23, 2008 - Putting a monetary value on art of any kind is always going to be problematical.

Jun 23, 2008 - Ansel Adams, Moonrise, Hernandez, New Mexico (1948)[8] $609,600, Auction NY 2006 Richard Prince, Untitled (Cowboy) (1989)[3], $1,248,000, November 2005 Does the ticket price mean that Adams is half the photographer that Prince is, well of course no. But Had you heard of Prince before now? Will you check out his work knowing that he is a million $ photographer? Will you like it more? Art is about making us think and if the price tag makes us look again at a work, then thats a good thing.
