Apr 14, 2008 - another reason why there is nothing to do is cause the population is so small,you may thing that 33,000 people is a big town but to many others it just another small town and Clovis dosent have the population or money to support a Target or popular bands or amusement or water parks,thats why its called a small town and all small towns are limited in what they offer.I admit Clovis dosent really have much compared to Farmington.

Jul 12, 2008 - As someone who graduated HS in Clovis (class of 98) - I can say that this story rings true everywhere. Across so many small towns in America, there is nothing for 14-18 year olds to do. There are only so many times you can go to High Plains Hall, so many Taco Box and Sonic trips.... The town is absolutely exhausting for a teenager, and it's gotten MUCH better since I left directly after high school.

Also easing the proccess of acquiring a liqour license in this town might help new restaraunts move in. I feel the town is very poorly managed and city or state funding isnt employed in the right areas. A Roundabout? Why not start with fixing the rest of the streets in Clovis that are in shambles first?
