That strategy you mentioned is an option, but a key to success there is proper entry/exit techniques to be successful for the long-term at that! Not sure what you're referencing on the last part but regardless, nothing works 100% of the time in all situations which is why I have an arsenol of tools so I'm not just a one trick pony! I've unsubscribed the guru's service. They r nothing but an annoying noise interefering my analysis. I didn't learn JACK from them. You've changed my trading behavior. SnR levels r my primary thing to look at , MAs come in second place and MACD,stoch and RSI r the last in my mind. thx Vince

Jul 25, 2008 - Hi Donnie, My opinion is that for longevity and profitability you need to be able to set aside the "buy side only" mentality becasue I'm here to profess there is obviously just as much opportunity in a Bear Market as we've shown, even if you can't short in your portfolio. Consult a Registered Financial Representative to determine the ETF's or other instruments that may be right for you and you endeavors! Regards, SnP

Regarding tape reading, I feel that actual tape reading is a disctraction and with hypnotize the average trader. Subsequently, I'm very leary of recommending studying it! Additionally, I've received many notes/letters just like yours and how people are getting the message that they don't need expensive gurus anymore! I'm very glad you've joined those ranks!
