Aug 8, 2008 - Where did our ancestors (who didn't drink milk for thousands of years) get their calcium from? If milk is so important to our development, why do countries that consume little to none continue to produce long living healthy people?

Oct 1, 2008 - 'Tis definately a thought. The Australian Aboriginals were in AMAZING health when the Europeans arrived and none of them had ever seen a cow or milked an animal in their lives! What about people living on tropical islands who had no hooved animals to milk either? And as you say what on earth did we do for calcium for all those thousands of years before we got the (you must admit, odd) idea of drinking the milk of another species!? Answer: There are many vegetable sources of calcium.
