Jul 26, 2008 - 25日下午16时许，踢伤北京值勤民警的香港《南华早报》记者王智强到医院看望了受伤民警张玉柱，向其真诚道歉。目前北京警方已将王智强交由报社接回。 记者从北京市政府新闻办了解到，25日上午10时30分许，香港《南华早报》记者王智强在采访奥运会门票公开发售事件时，进入了北京警方设置的临时管制区域，不服从警方管理，并踢伤值勤民警，致民警张某受伤住院。 事件发生后，北京警方立即与《南华早报》驻北京办事机构取得联系，通报情况。下午16时许，《南华早报》北京分社负责人与王智强一起到医院看望了受伤民警张玉柱，向其诚恳道歉，并送上了鲜花。 目前，北京警方已将王智强交由报社接回，《南华早报》报社方表示将随时配合警方的调查工作。(完）

Jul 26, 2008 - I didn't see SCMP photographer kick the police officer but I do see police officer pull NOW cameraman down and somehow his camera drop and hit him in the head. He then got up and thought it was the SCMP photographer and run to hit the photographer for unknown reason. I guess he misunderstood the one who hit him in the head is the photographer and how he injuired his groin is really beyond me. We also see police officer hit i-Cable News reporters and broke TVB news camera that's all.
