Aug 12, 2008 - Personally I really cant see the fight going past 2 minutes. Strong wrestlers have been submitted quickly.. Lots of back and forth until Randy must take it to the ground where he gets armbarred somehow. Keeping the fight standing up will prove detrimental for Randy since he is nowhere near as fast..so down to the ground it goes where he gets submitted. Of course I would love to see 3 or 5 rounds...

Aug 16, 2008 - I really feel that it all depends on whether they fight in a cage, or in a ring. In the cage, Couture has the "dirty boxing" style that would give him a definite advantage, as Fedor has fought mostly in a ring. In a ring Fedor will always win, unless Couture correctly predicts what Fedor will do before the match and plans the proper strategy around that.

Aug 18, 2008 - Randy Couture is the classiest fighter in mma. I have nothing but respect for the man. He deserves the status of 'legend'. Regardless of age, he's at the top of his game. I'd say he's the still third best heavy weight in the world (after Nog). That said, I think Fedor would beat him, and I fear, handily. Fedor is simply too good. I'm torn about this match. I want to see it, of course, but I don't really want to see Couture 'take a Sylvia'. :)
