It seems to be the season of celebrity outbursts. After the infamous episode of Bollywood actor Govinda, who was caught on camera slapping a man on the sets of his film, it is now the turn of Malayalam superstar Mammootty to court controversy. A blogger's video on Youtube shows Mammootty hitting a fan in a crowd who was apparently trying to shake hands with him. According to the blogger, the incident happened recently when Mammootty was in Malappuram district of Keralato promote his latest film Roudram . The clip shows the star's vehicle wading through a massive crowd of fans trying to get a glimpse of him.

Jun 7, 2008 - There's no reason for someone who is smiling and wishing his fans to suddenly hit someone who extends his hand to wish him (as seen in the clip) but you don't see the fan's mouth in the clip, surely he must have said something insulting..Otherwise, mammootty's face won't change so drastically, so suddenly.

I m also a big fan of mamooty, i use to see all hs movies, but the moment i saw mooty doing hiting the person u made him big, i verry much felt ashamed on mammoty. i never expected this from a nice person like mamooty.
