KingMucktoad Says:

Mar 25, 2008 - good idea, so lest stop arguing and do it.

JonThm Says:

Jul 22, 2008 - ***** (since you have ratings disabled) I honestly believe that MOST people are not buying into the GW theory. It would appear, if you only went by what you saw on the news, that most people are scared to death. I believe GW is just being used as another tool to put fear into us so we roll over and allow ourselves to be taxed even more.

KingMucktoad Says:

Jul 22, 2008 - Most arnt buying it? Best tell that to the 98%of all scientists that agree its caused by us, to EVERY SINGLE credible scientific organization on earth, the IPCC, not to mention the 144 countires that have ratified kyoto. 74% of all Americans that believe GW is caused by us and on top of that the US government is one of the only industrialied nations on earth that denys AGW exsitance... Yeah sure all the evidence says its all about the US government increasing taxes... *rolls eyes*

taofledermaus Says:

Jul 22, 2008 - Well, I'll go and install a CFL and that will solve the problem. :P I'm not sure if your figures are factual, 98%? If GW is a threat, it's too late to reverse it. If it is caused by man, then we have about 5 billion too many spewing out CO2. Who decides who can be industrialized and not? We can all bite our nails and die early worrying about something we can't change, or simply deal with the problems it =might= cause. Overpopulation brings many problems, GW is just one of them.

KingMucktoad Says:

Jul 22, 2008 - First of all my figues are exaclly correct, I provided souces in the sidebar? It's not too late to solve the problem, our best and brightest are working hard day and night to find solutions that will fix the problem and minimize the impact to our econmy (clutivating super plankton) Your stance just went from "it's not happening" to the compleat polar opposite of "it happening but we can't fix it" If you're going to have an disgussion you should really choose a side before you start.

taofledermaus Says:

Jul 22, 2008 - I am a little confused after watching your video what side YOU stand on. Personally, had I known people could not post freely on here without your approval, I wouldn't have wasted my time discussing this. You seem optimistic science or politics can alter the lifestyles of over 6 billion people. Good luck with that. Let's wish for world peace too. Sorry for wasting your time KMT

KingMucktoad Says:

Jul 22, 2008 - the only comments i censor are ones which resort to name calling, you've been polite so thank you. "You seem optimistic science or politics can alter the lifestyles of over 6 billion people. Good luck with that." Yeah right, cuz 6 billion people live the same way we do. The truth is that almost all of the problem is caused by the devloped world. All we have to do is find a environmental friendly way to carry on being extremly rich, and not penolize the poor, we have the technology.
