Jun 27, 2008 - Seen Rita plenty of times back in the day,usually as a solo artiste but also with a full band,lucky enough to of recorded(audio) one of her gigs at the Fleece(I was the sound engineer) in 1991 when she had the full band,thought it worked really well.Was hoping to video her at this gig but couldn't make it,I'll catch her soon though and post some clips here,why shes not a major major artiste is beyond me!!!

I think maybe either Rita or her management had a stab at the fame game as I have some demo tracks of her singing acoustic,rock band and with a disco beat,maybe spreading her wings or finding a niche??? though as we all know,her talent is herself and her guitar though I kinda like that she is an underground talent,maybe she'll disagree with that.

Good to know she is still around.Last time I saw her was at the easton community centre about 8-9yrs ago.Love the ashton court festi' vid of Hacksaw+Bogrolls...I had taken some fairly straight laced family...they did'nt know what the f**k was going on! p.s Am I the only one who is quite glad The Academy in the U.K gig IS'NT going to happen!....I mean;The Academy???????
