Her Howard/Boleyn family ambition, as well as her own, eventually gave Henry Tudor the power to do whatever he wanted when she encouraged him to divorce Katherine of Aragon and break with Rome. Had she known her place at court as only a mistress, she would have probably saved her own life. He was corrupt and awful to her and everybody else at court, but she helped make him that way.

Aug 28, 2008 - Anne did actually love Henry as much as he loved her. The only thing that strained their marriage was the lack of a son. Henry's fear of leaving without a male heir stemmed from how the Tudors became part of the english dynasty, and he didn't want another civil war to occur. Also, there is -no- proof that Henry ever raped anyone.

Sep 1, 2008 - This movie is called Henry the VIII..it was on PBS a few years ago as a miniseries. You can get on DVD through PBS online. If you can, you should get it. It is a wonderful movie, kinda shows Henry as being somewhat human.
