Indra Sahdan Daud is a Singaporean footballer. Considered one of Southeast Asia's most lethal strikers, Indra was part of the squad that won the Asean Football Championship for Singapore in 1998, 2005 and 2007. Not only was he the first local player to score 100 (total) S.League goals in 2003, he also became Singapore highest paid local player when he re-signed for Home United FC. He has a knack for scoring against top teams such as Manchester United, Uruguay, Japan, Denmark and Kuwait among others. He also had a training stint at Chelsea FC in 2003 as part of a deal with Emirates Airline. Played with Geylang United scores 43 goals(1997-2000), Home United scores 100 goals. (2001 -- Currently). Singapore National Team scores 26 goals (1998-Currently) He was the face of Nike Football Singapore as part of Nike's advertising campaign for the 2007 Asean Football Championship, formerly known as the Tiger Cup. Indra Sahdan's agent, Dave Roberts, is quoted to describe Indra's chances of getting the contract as "Excellent", after his conversation with the club's general manager, Garth Lagerway. In the transfer do go through, Indra Sahdan Daud will become Singapore's only third footballer to be playing outside of Asia, following legend "The King Of Singapore Football, Singapore's favourite sons" Fandi Ahmad and V. Sundramoorthy.
