Jul 24, 2008 - Suffering the usual scale problem, that is unless you wanted to flood a mini city... BTW - NL released new Max plugins today! You should check em out for MANY new fixes. -Shea

Jul 26, 2008 - Yes, I´d like to get more realistic results, but, how can I simulate a "real" scale city?? (My quadCore took 1 hole day to calculate all the scene, between simulation, mesh creation, render...). Any suggestions? Thank you!

SheaDesign Says:

Jul 26, 2008 - Crank up the particle resolution, make your scene resolution .01 or whatever is appropriate for the scale you modeled at... Then when you need a few days off the computer let your simulation run! The wave at the end of my Dali piece ran for almost 10 days!! On a much slower system, but would still take 3 days on a modern CPU. All the best fluid dynamics simulations need to burn for a while.
