Feb 28, 2008 - I agree you can get used to listening to anything. I listen to almost anything (can't get into that techno stuff unless I'm very drunk!) on my mood. Sometimes all I want to hear is punk. But I bet our definitions of punk differ quite abit because the punk I know & love doesn't sound as hard as what you just played! I'm sure I could be in the mood to listen to your stuff at some point but mostly my mood desires the stress free relaxation of a nice Iron and Wine tune.

Feb 29, 2008 - the BEST music is music i can't comprehend / understand at first listen.. so although i may listen to MORE music with 'funk'... i ultimately prefer the music with 'punk'... every FAVORITE album of mine that i can listen to again and again has been challenging for me at first listen.

Jul 1, 2008 - I spent a bit of time dwelling on metal in my youth and that particular prodigy songs is one of my favorites. I have highly eclectic tastes and value different music for different, sometimes conflicting, reasons. To me, your choice is equally repetitive, it's just sped up a lot more. Death metal tends to be too similar for my tastes, though I have a soft spot for Slayer and a few others. But really, it's about what suits your temperament and bugger what anyone else says =]
