Feb 26, 2008 - I will give you a clear example of what I mean. I went to an Arab Mosque to pray. I usually ray as Turks do because I was taught by books translated from Turkish, as well as my husband is Turkish and my community is Turkish.

She said we arabs pray like this (she was salafi) anyway, I said I pray like this, you interrupted my prayer and yours! why did you do that... now I have to start again. so was she right in disturbing my prayer?

Feb 26, 2008 - I agree.but I think what she was referring are muslims who are quick to judge you. for example once this older muslim lady and I were having a conversation I brought up the topic of the houri because I did not understand that and to be honest I still don't but nehow I asked how can sex exist in paradise & she did not even let me finish I think all she heard was sex & went off telling me that I was sinful for considering sex and all she said was haram haram harm. i'm so serious...lol salam sis.
