I cut the 12 last seconds because the YouTube limitation time, but the video still very good. Sorry. Have a good listening. Filmed at Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale, New York on October 15th, 1980 Ronnie James Dio - vocal Tony Iommi - guitar Geezer Butler - bass Vinny Appice - drums Black Sabbath toured the US throughout 1980 with Blue Öyster Cult on the "Black and Blue" tour, with a show in Uniondale, New York filmed and released theatrically in 1981 as Black and Blue. On July 26, 1980, the band played at a sold out Memorial Coliseum in Los Angeles with Journey, Cheap Trick, and Molly Hatchet to 100,000 fans. The next day, the band appared at the 1980 Day on the Green at Oakland Coliseum. While on tour, Black Sabbath's former label in England issued a live album culled from a five-year old performance, entitled Live at Last without any input from the band. The album reached number five on the British charts, and saw the re-release of "Paranoid" as a single, which reached the top 20.

Jul 1, 2008 - I like Black Sabbath with both Ozzy and Dio, but I really like the Dio stuff a little more. I dunno why. And Tony's guitar sounds righteous on this video! It sounds like his amp is going to fucking explode. I read he used marshalls during this period because Eddie Van Halen was using em. Conversely, I saw an old picture of Van Halen onstage in 1978 and Eddie was using his marshalls along with a slew of laneys. Perhaps he was borrowing Tony's because they toured together in '78?

Jul 9, 2008 - In my opinion, the Dio years produced much more evil over-tones. I personally don't mind that.
brnleague99 Says:
Jul 12, 2008 - Damn Dio looks young. Without this album, 1980's "Heaven And Hell", power metal as we know it today: Blind Guardian, Iced Earth, etc. would not exist.
