Close family friend Daniel Brooks was in Dharamsala when he heard the news about Eli. As he spoke on the phone from the roof of the Namgyl monastery (characteristically with video camera in one hand and phone in the other) a thick blanket of fog enveloped the hillside village. He then commissioned the monks at the monastery to perform a weekly prayer ceremony (or puja) for Eli each week for seven weeks following his death. Upon his return to New York he assembled this tribute to Eli. The music is "Breathe" by "The Kennedys".
