I am animal lover, a dog trainer, an animal shelter employee and an avid advocate of responsible pet ownership. Looking for a dog? Opt to adopt! As a child I had competed in jr showmanship and 4-H as well. I am now offering dog training classes through the local humane society. I will teach Puppy Socialization & Training, Beginner Obedience, Intermediate Obedience, and may eventually offer Tricks/Clicker classes, as well as Fun With Agility classes. www.freewebs.com/positivepossibilities My future will always hold room for the adopting, helping, rehabilitating, training, and caring for rescue and shelter dogs. I plan to apprentice under local dog trainers and behaviorists, as well as continuing my work with shelter and rescue dogs by spending any additional spare time volunteering. I believe in the power of positive reinforcement training. I switched over from more harsh and traditional training methods(choke chains, yank and crank) several years ago and have been an avid advocate of positive reinforcement and motivational methods ever since.
