Yoram Savion is a recent graduate of UC Berkeley and is currently working full time at Youth UpRising as a media arts instructor leading the YU Media-LP program and teaching the YU Cypher class. Yoram is a journalist, artist and educator. Current projects include producing youth-led multimedia stories for the Oakland Tribune and Alameda County Behavioral Health Services website. Kash Gaines is a student at CSU East Bay. Kash was a student in the YU Media-LP program Summer 2007. Due to his amazing talent and commitment to the work, he is now working part time at Youth UpRising as a media arts assistant instructor. He is a dancer, poet and multimedia producer. Current projects include photography collage experiments, music videos and TURF dancing videos. Yoram and Kash led a team of youth media producers and dancers to create the "RAW TURF" photo/video mural about TURF dancing currently on display at the Oakland Museum of California as part of the Cool Remixed exhibit May 17th - August 17th 2008.
