I'm a total amateur at bass, but love it nonetheless! I owned a bass close to 8 years ago and had about 7 months of practice before selling it.. Now I bought one again and have been playing since last December, so all in all I'd say I've had close to a year and a half's worth of practice.. I'm not trying to deceive myself or anyone else, my playing is not that great.. I'm learning as I go and they say that you should record yourself playing so you can hear your flaws when being played back.. My videos help do that and more for me.. When I see myself on video my mistakes really stand out and it helps me to see where I can improve.. I'm sure some of you can respect that, though I expect that I'll get troll comments anyways!
