DO YOU PLAY REAL DRUMS? -- I began playing drums at the age of 10 in June, 1988. I've played nearly every genre, played in dozens of ensembles and bands (around 1,000 gigs), and studied jazz improvisation in college. WHY DO YOUR DRUM PADS LOOK DIFFERENT THAN MINE? -- I am using the standard Rock Band kit with a few key modifications. I have the pads covered with mouse pads (on some videos) to lessen the noise and hopefully prevent them from cracking. (I've cracked several on a previous kit) WHAT KIND OF BASS PEDAL IS THAT, AND HOW CAN I GET IT? -- I am using my real pedal (an Iron Cobra) connected to a Gibraltar bass pad. Do a Google search for "Reldan bass mod" to see how it is wired into the game. HOW DO YOU GET SO MUCH REBOUND FROM YOUR PADS? -- I don't. It may appear that my pads give off a nice bounce, but my wrists are doing all the extra work to compensate for poor rebound. I may do a video to demonstrate my technique. ARE YOU RIGHT-HANDED OR LEFT-HANDED? -- I am left-handed. But I'm glad most people have to ask, because that means I've done a decent job of developing my right hand.
