I love vintage and new drum gear. I like new gear because of the durability, and the vintage for the studio or jamming. I LOVE my K's man. I only tend to play light or medium light rides, because they are WAY more durable. I like the lighter rides for crashes and for the fact that you can get many more sounds out of them versus a crash. And they don't break hardly. I'm a big dude and I rock out. Being the worlds most proficient drummer will never assure me a job. Grooving right and gelling with other musicians and getting along with everybody will. You've got to put your ego aside when you want to create bomb ass music. Put a little grease on it. Make it spicy. Put your soul into it. Check me out, I do sessions and gigs! I sure love hitting the drums hard! I'll hit them eloquently should you pay me right. My personality comes through when I play. My emotions, my thoughts, my pain, my pent up aggression. What a cathartic thing to do in my free time. But alas I live in an apartment, so I can't bang as much as i'd want. So thanks to my friends at Timbo's Drumshop in Riverside Califonia!!! They are gracious enough to let me teach there and bang on the cans when ever I want to. And thanks to the cops for not arresting me when I play at the park! And thanks to Primo Studios. That's where I go to make noise with the boys!
